Tribeca is a lower Manhattan neighborhood that I would party in, usually on nights that I was also bouncing around SoHo, Chinatown, and Greenwich Village. I kept a lot of secrets in those days, and the ironwork caging in the industrial stone buildings in the area feel like an apt metaphor for the buttoned up presentation covering my jittery interior life during the dawn of the 2010s.
