Santa Fe is a place I would love to visit more often. There's a reason the city is recognized as being a hub of American creativity and spirituality. Art, craft, vista, warmth...it's all in Santa Fe. The reason I painted Santa Fe at night is that I drove into Santa Fe from Albuquerque very late and had an almost psychedelic experience from the repetitive lights of the highway. Or was it the atmosphere of the place itself that really ignited in me feelings of wonder and gratitude?
