This piece, Clifton, is dedicated to the Louisville neighborhood that I spent time cultivating a creative voice, including my coming out story, directly before my move to Brooklyn. The area was characterized at that time by crumbling sidewalks and a fiery nightlife scene. I reminisce obsessively about a party on Thursday nights at Red Lounge called "Experimental Rock Night".— this artwork is my attempt to capture the boundless inspiration and hunger for living I felt in that place and time.
